‘Lucifer’ returns later this summer on Netflix for season 5

Get ready for more devilish good fun and crime solving.

The most recent season of Lucifer saw the show based on the DC Comics character move from Fox to Netflix. It did so well at its new home that the series was picked up for another season. Now, we know when that new season is set to return via a video the streaming giant released highlighting the program’s sexiest moments.

Lucifer will return on August 21 for the first half of its fifth season. Because the season was expanded from 10 to 16 episodes, Netflix is releasing it in two batches. Fans can expect more secrets to be revealed, the deaths of beloved characters, and an answer for “Will they, or won’t they?”.

Who’s ready for more crime solving with the devil? The season five premiere date of Lucifer comes less than a month after it was announced star, Tom Ellis, negotiated a deal to return as the titular character, thus making a sixth season a strong possibility.
