Jon Moxley pulled from Dynamite after possible COVID-19 exposure

AEW World Champion will not appear on tonight’s episode of Dynamite as advertised after coming in contact with someone who has COVID-19. AEW founder Tony Khan announced the change on Twitter.

“Recently [Jon Moxley] had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19,” the statement reads. “Mox did the right thing & warned us. Doc asked him to stay home & get tested to protect us here at our test site.”

This is more bad news for the wrestling business as it relates to COVID-19. Earlier today, it was reported that multiple WWE employees, including in-ring talent, have tested positive for the virus.

Moxley’s opponent for Fyter Fest, Brian Cage, will be in action tonight against an unannounced opponent.
