Leaving a Mark: 1990 WCW Epilogue

Four reasons no one remembers the good 1990 WCW did.

Leaving a Mark is a look at some of my favorite and not so favorite moments from pro wrestling when I was growing up. They may not all be good memories, but they stuck around for one reason or another. Each week, I look back with a modern perspective on the times I cherished so much as a kid.

WCW did a lot of things wrong. There was the Black Scorpion, Robocop, and the infuriating booking. With all the bad came a lot of good, however. The promotion had hot World Title matches, classic tag team battles, and some historic moments. Why do fans refuse to acknowledge all the things the company did right?

In the epilogue for this look at 1990 WCW, we look at the four reasons the company gets a bad rap for the entire year. There is no denying the promotion did a whole lot to earn its infamy, but here are four reasons fans do not look at what WCW did well.
