Marvel Comics’ plans for Comic-Con@Home have been revealed in full today after Disney+ revealed a 616 panel was on the way just last week. The new free virtual convention will take place at the regularly scheduled San Diego Comic-Con dates of July 22-26, 2020.
Customary of every big comic book convention Marvel has revealed their “Next Big Thing” panel will take place July 24 at 11:00 AM pacific. That’s the event you don’t want to miss at any comic book convention. The description promises info on Marvel’s first big X-Men event since Jonathan Hickman took over with X of Swords info, as well as time devoted to the milestone Amazing Spider-Man #850, and an appearance from Werewolf by Night (read the preview here) with creators Taboo and Ben Jackendoff.
Marvel Comics also revealed the Marvel HQ panel will take place a day earlier on July 23rd at 4:00 PM eastern. This is a panel for the younger audience members as it will cover Spider-Man: Maximum Venom and other animated series.
