Today Yen Press and its JY imprint announced the acquisition of two new series featuring some of Disney’s most iconic characters — Kingdom Hearts III (manga) and Wizards of Mickey. The popular video game’s manga adaptation will be published through Yen Press, while Mickey’s adventures with magical artifacts will be published for middle grade readers under Yen Press’ JY imprint.

The Kingdom Hearts III manga adaptation is the latest entry into the hugely popular franchise. Fan favorite artist Shiro Amano, who worked on all previous Kingdom Hearts manga, returns once again to create more incredible artwork. The first volume is 144 pages and arrives November 17, 2020 for $13.00.

Wizards of Mickey is a gorgeous full-color graphic novel brought to life by writer Stefano Ambrosio and artist Lorenzo Pastrovicchio. The original story follows Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy on an adventure where they pursue greatness as wizards and strive to obtain magical artifacts.
The story was originally published in the Italian magazine Topolino, and has since been published worldwide in several languages and adapted into a video game and trading card game. Wizards of Mickey, Vol. 1 arrives November 17, 2020 for $16.00.
