In a press only email, Marvel Comics has let it be known creators Clay McLeod Chapman and Guiu Villanova will be creating King In Black tie-in Web of Venom: Empyre’s End #1. Chapman most recently worked on Scream: Curse Of Carnage and has shown over and over how positively superb he is at writing horror comics. Villanova recently worked on Ruins of Ravencroft: Carnage also proving there’s a strong horror quality to their work. This is a good fit.
Marvel also sent over the art with the words, “KNULL EMERGES TO CLAIM HIS THRONE!” Based on the art it appears Knull is going to show up and take advantage of all the heroes being busy fighting in the Empyre war.
