The Hollywood Reporter had the scoop today that Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips’ new graphic novel series will be titled Reckless. Published by Image Comics, the series will launch in December and it’ll center around a private eye. Reckless will run at 144 pages which is slightly longer than the recently released Pulp, which the AIPT Comics podcast picked as its top book of the week and AIPT writer Rory Wilding gave a 10/10 in his review.
GamesRadar had the scoop on the upcoming graphic novel series last week.
So what’s it about? Check it out:
Set in 1980s Los Angeles, Reckless centers around a private eye called Ethan Reckless who’ll take care of problems… for a price. But his latest case hits too close to home, when a familiar face from his own days as a student radical comes calling for help.
The news also came with some preview images which you can view below.
Head on over to The Hollywood Reporter from a word by Ed Brubaker about the project.
