Earlier today, Hasbro revealed that Dr. Doom will be the next figure to join its popular Retro Collection. Of course…OF COURSE they had to release a sweet looking update to the one I just bought recently.

For those of you lucky/smart enough to have waited, this version with alternate hands, magic effects, rocket effects, two spell books, a pistol, and a freaking Ultimate Nullifer. It also comes packages on an unequivocally retro cardback.

The Retro Collection Dr. Doom is currently available for pre-order at your favorite specialty toy realtors (although he’s already sold out on Hasbro Pulse) with an expected arrival in November.
Check out some more pictures of this gorgeous figure while I try to convince myself that the standard release version sitting on my shelf is just fine.
