This morning, Hasbro revealed another retro Marvel Legends figure: Mysterio!

Initially, I thought this was just a rerelease of the figure from the Marvel Legends Lizard BAF wave. But a quick look on my shelf revealed that this version has a much more classic look, including yellow boots/gloves (as opposed to neon green) and a less transparent dome. It also appears to have a different (and better) shade of green for the main part of the costume and a lighter shade of blue for the fog effect pieces.

Additionally, the figure comes in that sweet ’90s retro packaging.

I’m not sure if the changes are enough for me to buy the figure again, but if you missed out on classic Mysterio the first time, then this is the perfect opportunity to get him.

The figure is currently available for preorder (with an expected November delivery) from your preferred online toy retailer.
