There has been plenty of news coming out of the second day of DC FanDome including the renewal of Doom Patrol and season two tidbits for Pennyworth. During the Young Justice panel, the title of the upcoming season was revealed.

Executive producers, Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti confirmed the title for the upcoming fourth season will be Young Justice: Phantoms. Also during the panel, was a special audio performance of a brand new episode by select members of the cast.

The original radio play was titled Young Justice: FanDome. Season 3.9 Episode 1. “The Prize”. The script was written by Weisman and provided an early look into season four by setting up events that will play out further during Young Justice: Phantoms.

The team come into conflict with Task Force X after Waller’s crew try to kidnap Bowhunter Security’s newest employee. Afterwards, Conner and Megan are ready to leave and embark on their next great adventure on their own while Roy receives an invitation to rejoin. Clayface is at the center of the radio play with the two sides having conflicting views on whether he has completely reformed.

Weisman shared that the upcoming season hasn’t been affected too much by the pandemic other than working from home so hopefully there won’t be any delays. In addition, there will be lots of new content featuring the female cast members.

The first three seasons of Young Justice can be viewed on DC Universe.
