Earlier today, Nellie Andreeva at Deadline reported that Amazon has ordered a spinoff series to accompany their smash hit original program, The Boys.

According to Adreeva, the spinoff will bet set in “America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes,” which is obviously owned/operated by Vought International. If the setting didn’t already tip you off, the show will also feature plenty of R-rated content and hormone-fueled shenanigans. The Boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg is set to run things and has already been hard at work writing the pilot.
While I’m not thrilled about the spinoff’s premise, I should probably trust the people making it, especially considering how incredible Season 2 of The Boys has been. Even if the show doesn’t live up to the flagship series, the crossover possibilities alone will make it worth checking out.
