Netflix and Chills delivers a spooky line-up this Halloween

International horror flicks, original content, killer Babysitter’s and more!

Welcome to another installment of 31 Days of Halloween! This is our chance to set the mood for the spookiest and scariest month of the year as we focus our attention on horror and Halloween fun. For the month of October we’ll be sharing various pieces of underappreciated scary books, comics, movies, and television to help keep you terrified and entertained all the way up to Halloween.

It’s October 1 today and that mean’s a few things: we’re officially in Halloween territory, 31 Days of Halloween is a go, and Netflix and Chills is back!

Sure, Halloween might look a little different this year but that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy a bevy of great horror movies and TV shows. Thankfully, Netflix isn’t breaking their annual tradition of delivering a line-up of spooky content to help keep us entertained and terrified in this crisp fall air.

It goes without saying that the majority of folks are easily most excited for the upcoming series, The Haunting of Bly Manor, which arrives on Oct. 9. Bly Manor is a follow up to the critically acclaimed series, The Haunting of Hill House, and the creative team and many of the cast of Hill House are returning for Bly Manor, though the narratives of the two series will be separate. The new series will be loosely based on the 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.

There’s also the return of Unsolved Mysteries: Volume 2 on Oct. 19. The reboot of the iconic true crime/paranormal documentary series returned with new episodes in July of this year and received high marks from fans and critics alike.
