Welcome to another installment of 31 Days of Halloween! This is our chance to set the mood for the spookiest and scariest month of the year as we focus our attention on horror and Halloween fun. For the month of October we’ll be sharing various pieces of underappreciated scary books, comics, movies, and television to help keep you terrified and entertained all the way up to Halloween.
31 Days of Halloween begins with a talk about dark fantasy. Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel talk about why there is more crossover appeal for dark fantasy, what are some of their favorites, and what they like and dislike about the subgenre.
The show starts with a talk about the new Borat trailer. The guys also talk about Hollywood asking Congress for money. After venting some steam, the three talk about some Spider-Man movie rumors.
On this week’s What You Need to Know, the trio try to figure out what Lynchian means. Is it just a term people throw around or does it actually mean something? (Different things to different people is a cop out.)
To start off the month of October, the three talk ab out dark fantasy. There is some Game of Thrones talk, discussion on why dark fantasy seems more acceptable, the best examples from the genre.
