Adventures in Movies! Quick and Dirty: Dark Fantasy

Lovecraft, Conan, and…rats?

Welcome to another installment of 31 Days of Halloween! This is our chance to set the mood for the spookiest and scariest month of the year as we focus our attention on horror and Halloween fun. For the month of October we’ll be sharing various pieces of underappreciated scary books, comics, movies, and television to help keep you terrified and entertained all the way up to Halloween.

Danny, Blake and Nathaniel can be a little self indulgent at times. Many have accused them of taking too long to get to the point. And rightfully so! Adventures in Movies! (The Quick and Dirty Version) can be found on YouTube. It is all the goodness you can come to expect served in the smaller mouthfuls the boys are better served in. Welcome to Adventures in Movies! Quick and Dirty.

31 Days of Halloween is upon us and this year we are starting with dark fantasy. Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel talk about some of their favorites in the genre and why it seems to have more crossover appeal than traditional fantasy. In this clip, Blake talks about his startling introduction to dark fantasy, Nathaniel talks about Conan, and Danny talks about rats. The three also talk about how Heavy Metal and hobbits fit into the mix.
