During halftime of this week’s Monday Night Football game, Disney unveiled a “special look” (i.e. new trailer) for Season 2 of The Mandalorian.
Unless I’m completely missing something, there wasn’t much we hadn’t seen already in the first trailer or the recent TV spot. That said, there were a couple of big things that jumped out:
- At 0:23, Din Djarin talks about seeking out “other Mandalorians” to help guide him in his quest to get The Child/Baby Yoda to the Jedi. I’m going to go out on a very strong limb and say that this will lead to him crossing paths with Katie Sackhoff’s Bo Katan. It also means there’s a chance he could run into Sabine Wrenn, which would be really cool.
- At 0:40, we see Cara Dune and Greef Karga driving a hijacked Imperial Troop Transport. During that bit of awesomeness, a familiar-looking blue alien pops up between them.

The Mandalorian (Disney+)
This pretty much confirms that the Mythrol who Din Djarin captured in the first episode (played by Horatio Sanz) will be back. It should be all types of uncomfortable/fun watching how he gets mixed up in things with this crew.
Season 2 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian premieres October 30 on Disney+.
