Fans anticipating Cyberpunk 2077 are in for some disappointment today as the official Twitter account has revealed the game’s release has been delayed again, this time to December 10th. This comes after multiple delays, which started with the release being moved to September. The delay is less than a month away this time though, and CD Projekt Red has confirmed the game has entered “golden master” status, meaning the game is finished, so it’s more than likely December 10th will be the official release date.
In the tweet, the company revealed the biggest challenge has been shipping the game across current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time. As the tweet reads below, that requires them to prepare and test 9 versions of the game.
