The Mandalorian: Haslab Razor Crest campaign adds two more stretch goals

It’s very likely that next year’s Vintage Collection Razor Crests will also come with a flight stand and carded off-world Jawa figure.

Earlier this week, Hasbro Pulse added two new stretch goals for their Haslab Razor Crest campaign. Oddly, the goals were not revealed until Friday, which we can likely attribute to being on the same day that Season 2 of The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+.

Either way, let’s take a look at what might be coming our way when this glorious piece of plastic awesomeness starts shipping next year.

Unlock #4: Clear Flight Stand

If the campaign reaches 15,000 backers, everyone will get a clear tilted flight stand…which I gotta say is a bit disappointing.

Don’t get me wrong–I definitely wanted a flight stand. But a tilted one? How the heck are we supposed to display characters inside the ship? I guess this is cool if you just want to display the ship or have the characters inside of it remain seated. For those of us who like to use our ships like diorama sets, however, the stand will likely end up in a storage bin.

Unlock #5: Offworld Jawa Elder (Arvala-7) Figure

If the campaign reaches 17,000 backers, everyone will receive an exclusive/carded Vintage Collection Offworld Jawa Elder. (from Chapter 2). In addition to a soft-goods robe, the little guy comes with a kukri knife, necklace, open mudhorn egg.

I admit that when I first saw this thing, my excitement was solely based on the prospect of selling it to recoup must of the Razor Crest’s cost. I’m not particularly fond of Jawas (disgusting creatures) and the sculpted hood, while necessary, makes the soft goods robe look a little weird.

But then Hasbro had to go and add that dang mudhorn egg. Now I’m torn.

Whether I end up hanging onto the carded figure or not, I think everyone can agree that we’re still holding out hope for lights and sound as an additional feature. With only 10 days to go and 14,000 backers, however, it looks like we may just have to be content with all the great stuff that’s already included.

If you still need to snag your very own Vintage Collection Razor Crest, you can join the campaign (which is basically an incentive-based preorder at this point) here.
