Molyneux Sisters to write script for ‘Deadpool 3’

The team behind Bob’s Burgers will be providing words to the Merc with a Mouth.

Yesterday, Justin Kroll of Deadline exclusively revealed that Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin have been tapped by Marvel studios to write ‘Deadpool 3’.

Ryan Reynolds is also set to return as the Merc with a Mouth. The movie has been in development since late last year, but this is the first big news we’ve had about the production since the movie officially moved under the Disney/Marvel Studios umbrella.

The Molyneux Sisters (Motherhood in Hollywood)

For those who aren’t familiar with the Molyneux Sisters, they the Emmy-winning writers behind Bob’s Burgers. If you’re a fan of that show, then you know their humor is a perfect fit for this franchise/character.

Kroll’s report also states that ‘Deadpool 3’ is slated to be R-rated like the last two installments. I won’t fully believe it until I see Disney slap big R on it themselves, but this should begin to ease a lot of people’s minds who were worried the franchise would be heavily sanitized after changing studios.
