For this week’s Mando Monday, Hasbro unveiled two new items for their 3.75″ scale Vintage Collection: Greef Karga in his Season 2 outfit and The Child.
The preview images for both figures are based on computer models instead of actual samples, but they still give us a pretty good idea of what we’ll be getting. Let’s take a look at the Navarro Magistrate first.
Greef Karga
Unlike the Black Series version of the character revealed last week, this one features Karga in the outfit he wore during last Friday’s episode of The Mandalorian.
In addition to being my preferred look for the character, the computer model of the face looks infinitely better than his Black Series counterpart. That can obviously change once the figure is put into production, but it also might have something to do with Carl Weathers being able to rock a gray goatee so well.
Whatever the case, the figure will retail for $12.99 and is scheduled to go up for preorder today at 4:00 PM with an expected arrival in Spring 2021.
The Child
This is now the third 3.75″ scale version of Baby Yoda that has been revealed/released, all of which have unique head sculpts. If you want to see how they’re different, Yakface.com did a good photo comparison between each one.
Here’s what else you need to know:
Din Djarin & The Child (Walmart exclusive)
- Pack in figure w/ no accessories
Razor Crest (HasLab exclusive)
- Single carded
- Unique left arm holding the Razor Crest’s control knob
- Mug accessory
- Vac metalized (i.e. shiny) pram
Standard Vintage Collection release
- Single carded
- Frog accessory
- Old/busted-looking pram
I’m happy with the version I’ll be getting with my Razor Crest and I (hopefully) have another coming with the Walmart exclusive Din Djarin.
If you still want/need a single carded version of The Child, however, then this is a great chance to get him for much less than the Razor Crest version is sure to be going for on Ebay once they’re delivered.
The figure will retail for $12.99 and is scheduled to go up for preorder today at 4:00 PM with an expected arrival in Spring 2021.
