Mando Monday: Black Series Kuiil, Moff Gideon, and Greef Karga officially revealed

Greef Karga’s face still needs some serious work, but Moff Gideon and Kuiil are definite buys.

Hasbro used this week’s Mando Monday to officially revealed three Star Wars: Black Series figures from The Mandalorian: Kuiil, Moff Gideon, and Greef Karga.

Images of the figures were already leaked last week, but today’s announcement provides us a better look at them–and hopefully a better face sculpt for for poor Greef.

…and it’s still bad. That Season 1 outfit looks great, but the face is still a far cry from looking like Carl Weathers. I won’t be picking up this figure unless I see it in person and the paint apps have improved significantly from the production sample.

If you’re willing to bet that they will, then Greef Karga will retail for $22.99 and is available for preorder with an expected arrival in February.

Not a perfect likeness of Giancarlo Esposito, but definitely not bad. In general, though, the figure looks pretty great. It also comes with a 6″ scale Darksaber, which is almost worth the price of admission on its own.

Moff Gideon will retail for $22.99 and is available now for preorder with an expected arrival in February.

Without the burden of having to match a human face, Hasbro was able to knock everyone’s favorite deceased Ugnaught out of the park. Now we just need a deluxe blurrg to go with him.

I do wish the figure came with more accessories, but he’s definitely still worth picking up.

Kuiil will retail for $22.99 and is available now for preorder with an expected arrival in February.
