On Friday afternoon, Instagram toy scooper anerdydad posted leaked photos of upcoming Black Series photos for three upcoming figures from The Mandalorian: Kuill, Greef Karga, and Moff Gideon. All of these have been rumored for a while, but this is our first real look at them.
Let’s dig in, shall we?
Mandalorian Black Series Kuiil
Kuiil looks great as expected, although he definitely needs a blurrg (in both scales).
Mandalorian Black Series Moff Gideon
Moff Gideon looks good, although the figure in the box in this picture looks like he had too much caffeine before the photo was taken. Hopefully that’s just an anomaly and the out-of-package figure is what they’ll actually resemble.
Mandalorian Black Series Greef Karga
Yikes, Carl Weathers deserves so much better than this. Considering all the amazing work Hasbro’s done with face printing technology lately, it’s surprising to see such a big miss like this. Hopefully, improvements are made before the figure goes into mass production.
It’s safe to assume that these figures were going to be revealed for an upcoming Mando Monday. Let’s hope their official debut from Hasbro includes some justice for Apollo Creed (and maybe big ole blurrg).
