Earlier today, the family of Jeremy Bulloch announced on his website that the actor has passed away at the age of 75 due to health complications resulting from his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
While he enjoyed a very active 45-year career in film/television, his most iconic role was that of Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy. Although his face was covered by a helmet, Bulloch’s intimidating presence was a major part of what made the character so beloved despite not having much screen time. He also had unmasked roles in Empire Strikes Back as Imperial Officer Sheckil and in Revenge of the Sith has Captain Colton.

Many members of the Star Wars family posted on social media today to express their sadness at Bulloch’s passing while remembering what a great colleague, friend, and ambassador for the franchise he was.
