Marvel Comics drops ‘Black Panther’ trailer featuring Ta-Nehisi Coates’ finale

The Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda Saga continues next month in Black Panther #23.

Press Release

After a lengthy delay, Black Panther will return with Black Panther #23 in February which also marks the finale to Ta-Nehisi Coates, Daniel Acuña, and Ryan Bodenheim’s run on the series. The series has explored the deeply original idea of T’Challa discovering an alternate Wakandan society deep in space.

“We’re so excited to bring BLACK PANTHER back to the stands, and we thank all our readers for their patience,” said editor Wil Moss in a press release sent to AIPT. “I promise, these last three issues will be worth the wait — Ta-Nehisi and Daniel have been building to this finale for over two years now, and the ensuing battle between the forces of T’Challa’s Wakanda and Emperor N’Jadaka’s Intergalactic Empire is going to knock your socks off! Just wait’ll you see who shows up to help defend Wakanda…”
