Today on StarWars.com, a teaser image of Boba Fett, or what looks like the character cast in chrome black, has been released. No other information is known beyond the tagline on the art which reads “Boba Fett…nowhere to hide.”
The art appears to be by Steve McNiven and given its hyper-realistic look McNiven makes sense. No artist was listed with the news, however.
Check out the art below.
Along with the teaser art, the announcement revealed more information will be released tomorrow. Will we find out why he’s all black? How about that stabby spear he’s holding what is the deal with that?
Given the resurgence of Boba Fett in the Mandalorian television show and Boba Fett getting his own show at the end of the year, this seems like a no-brainer.
If you’ve been reading the comic books from Marvel, they’ve actively kept this character under wraps with no series of his own yet. He did pop up in an Age of Rebellion one-shot by Greg Pak and Marc Lamming. Since we’ve been waiting this long we can’t wait to see what Marvel has in store for Boba Fett in 2021.
