Image Comics reveals ‘The Department of Truth’ #1, 4, and 5 go back to print

‘The Department of Truth’ sells out and getting more reprintings.

Image Comics has revealed The Department of Truth hits keep coming as the first, fourth, and fifth issues are getting rushed back to print. That puts the first issue at four printings and issues #2-5 at two printings. Just a few days ago it was revealed by THR that The Department of Truth was in development for television. Both creators James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds are executive producers.

Tynion put it best when he pronounced via Image Comics press release, “It’s all going according to plan…”

Fans can pick up new printings of The Department of Truth #1, 4, and 5 on March 24th and find reprintings of issues #2-3 on March 13.

So what’s The Department of Truth about?

In The Department of Truth readers meet Cole Turner, a man who has studied conspiracy theories all his life—but never prepared to discover that all of them are true. From the JFK Assassination to Flat Earth Theory and Reptilian Shapeshifters, one organization has been covering them up for generations. What is the deep, dark secret behind the Department of Truth?
