Image Comics offering two FCBD 2021 specials

Image Comics has revealed they will be giving away two stories on Free Comic Book Day 2021, one for Lady Mechanika by Joe Benitez and Stray Dogs by Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner. Free Comic Book Day is on Saturday, August 14th this year.

The FCBD 2021 edition of Lady Mechanika will include the stand-alone short story “The Demon of Satan’s Alley,” which first introduced Lady Mechanika and her steampunk world (Lady Mechanika #0)—plus a preview of “The Monster of the Ministry of Hell-th,” the newest story by series creator Joe Benitez which will debut this year at Image Comics.

The Stray Dogs FCBD edition will feature a brand new prologue, “That Doggie in the Window”—the unnerving story of the very first dog to ever come to the Master’s house.

PORTLAND, Ore. 03/18/2021 — Image Comics is pleased to participate in FCBD 2021—Saturday, August 14—again this year with two special offerings—Lady Mechanika by Joe Benitez and Stray Dogs by Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner.

New readers interested in testing out the longrunning, bestselling steampunk action of Lady Mechanika won’t be disappointed by this action-packed freebie issue. In it, readers follow a young woman during the Victorian Era who is desperately in search of the secrets to her past—a past that left her with extraordinary, but unnatural, mechanical limbs.

The FCBD 2021 edition of Lady Mechanika will include the stand-alone short story “The Demon of Satan’s Alley,” which first introduced Lady Mechanika and her steampunk world (Lady Mechanika #0)—plus a preview of “The Monster of the Ministry of Hell-th,” the newest story by series creator Joe Benitez which will debut this year at Image Comics.
