Marvel Comics adds Wasp and Black Bolt one-shots to ‘Darkhold’ lineup

Jordie Bellaire, Claire Roe, Mark Russell, and David Cutler joining ‘Darkhold’ with new one-shots.

Press Release

Today, Marvel Comics revealed they’re adding two more one-shots to Darkhold set for release this November. After Steve Orlando and Cian Tormey kick things off with Darkhold: Alpha #1 in September, and Ryan North and Daniel Kibblesmith dig into Blade and Iron Man, Jordie Bellaire and Claire Roe will tackle Wasp, and then Mark Russell and David Cutler will tell a Black Bolt tie-in.

“As a writer, it’s a joy to get to write a character who spends even more time inside their own head than you do,” Russell said in a statement sent to AIPT. “So Black Bolt is a writer’s dream character and when I heard which other creators were involved with the series, I was totally on board, like someone who’d unwittingly bought a house in a really great neighborhood.”
