Today, Marvel Comics has revealed November’s Daredevil #36 will be Daredevil’s last issue! Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto’s groundbreaking series has all lead to this, and by its end, it’ll ask who will be left standing as Daredevil: Matt Murdock or Electra Natchios?
“I know writers like to say things like ‘it’s all been building toward this!!’ but, really, it has,” Zdarsky said in a press release sent to AIPT. “When I sat down to write issue one, I knew that this issue was waiting and that it was going to drastically alter the lives of the Daredevil cast. Issue 36 is NOT an ending, it’s a beginning.”
It may sound like the end, but Marvel assures us there’s more to come from Zdarsky. Many can breathe a sigh of relief since it was announced last Thursday Zdarsky was joining Substack.
