WWE interactive horror movie ‘Escape The Undertaker’ coming to Netflix

‘Saw’ meets WWE meets ‘Bandersnatch’? I’m in.

WWE is teaming up with Netflix to present Escape The Undertaker, an interactive escape-room-type movie where you, the viewer, follow The New Day through an “extreme Haunted House packed to the brim with supernatural challenges”.

The official synopsis is as follows:

Listen to the latest episode of the AIPT Movies Podcast!

The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion. What they don’t know: The Undertaker’s mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges. It’s up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker.

If this sounds absolutely insane to you, you’re not alone. This sounds like a WWE version of Saw mixed with 2018’s interactive Netflix movie Bandersnatch with the New Day thrown in for good measure, and I am here for it.

If you’re unfamiliar with interactive movies, the film will unfold in a series of scenes that will branch off in different directions based on your choices. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure book come to life.

Escape The Undertaker will be available to stream on Netflix October 5. Check out some official images below, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting:
