Courtesy of Heavy Metal Magazine, we have an exclusive preview of Savage Circus #6, out today. Written by Brendan Columbus with art by Al Barrionuevo, the series has plans for a film beyond its comics origins.
Columbus shared that the origins of the story are rooted in the things he loved as a kid, from Lethal Weapon to Gremlins, “and even to my favorite run in Spider-Man, ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt.'”
Columbus added, “Savage Circus has been brewing in me for a long, long time, and thank god I had the incredible help from artist Alejandro Barrionuevo and colorist Candice Han to take my jumbled mess of words from just an idea to a comic I am extremely proud of. I tried to make a comic that would’ve blown little Brendan’s mind and I hope some kid out there sneaks Savage Circus off their parent’s shelf and dives into this world of madness.”
