Image Comics revealed Nocterra, which just wrapped up its first story arc, is coming back this December with a new special one-shot issue. Written by Scott Snyder, the one-shot will feature Denys Cowan on art for Nocterra Special: Blacktop Bill. The series has been a huge success, with multiple issues going back for second printings.

Fans can pick up the first volume trade paperback on October 13 in comic book shops and October 19th in book stores.
