Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi’ #3 and #4 sells out plus Marvel reveals ‘Shang-Chi’ #5 preview

‘Shang-Chi’ second printings hit stores October 20 with ‘Shang-Chi’ #5 out October 13.

Marvel Comics has revealed the excellent series Shang-Chi has sold out of its third and fourth issues. Fans who couldn’t find Shang-Chi #3 and Shang-Chi #4 in comic book shops can pick them up October 20th when the second printing will be available. One might assume the Shang-Chi movie has something to do with it, but Gene Luen Yang, Dike Ruan, and Tríona Farrell have been killing it on the series.

The second printings will be available ahead of Shang-Chi #5 which drops in comic book shops on October 13th. You can check out the black and white second printing covers below.

New York, NY— September 17, 2021 — Recent issues of SHANG-CHI, one of Marvel’s hottest ongoing series, will be returning to comic shops with new printings next month! Written by award-winning author Gene Luen Yang with art by rising star Dike Ruan, SHANG-CHI’s current series has thrilled readers with new villains and dynamic action that only Marvel’s greatest fighter can deliver! Each issue sees Shang-Chi face off against a different Marvel hero as he struggles with being the new leader of his father’s evil organization, the Five Weapons Society! 

In SHANG-CHI #3, Shang-Chi discovered his long-lost mutant sister, Zhilan, and was embroiled in a epic showdown with Wolverine to determine her fate!

And in SHANG-CHI #4, Shang-Chi had no choice but to go up against the Fantastic Four in order to rescue his mother from the Negative Zone. This revelatory issue marked the first appearance of Shang-Chi’s true mother, Jiang Li, and raised more questions about Shang’s past than ever before! And the mystery will only deepen in SHANG-CHI #5 where Shang will have to protect his mother from none other than Iron Man!
