NYCC ’21: All of Tamashii Nation’s Toys and Statues

Anime fans were in for a treat at NYCC this weekend!

Tamashii Nations forced many anime and manga fans to break the bank at NYCC this weekend. The vendor showed off their new and upcoming toys and statues with a heavy focus on merchandise from popular anime. The event exclusive, reservation-only Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku Kaio-Ken (say that five times fast) from Dragon Ball Super was on full display. The figure includes interchangeable hands, expressions, and a colorful stand for Goku to pose with.

But that wasn’t all! Tamashii showcased figures from One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, and Gundam. Pac-Man, Godzilla and King Kong, Iron Man, and characters from Star Wars also joined in on the statue fun. Figures ranged from $50 to well north of a hundred bucks.

The cherries on top of Tamashii’s toy-tastic sundae, however, were the people-sized Gundam, Godzilla, and Samurai Daisho Darth Vader statues. They were equal parts beautiful, exciting, and menacing, in Vader’s case. Check them all out in our gallery below!
