On Friday, Marvel.com revealed a bunch of new items related to the first season of What If…?, which just wrapped up its first season. One item of particular interest was a new Marvel Legends figure featuring Captain Carter in the stealth suit she wore during Episode 9.
As most of you are likely aware, this suit (and her opening scene) mirrors the one Steve Rogers sported in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. You may have also noticed that it isn’t very screen accurate, especially the shield.
To be honest, though, I kind of like the action figure’s look better. Either way, this version of Captain Carter definitely deserve a spot on your multiverse shelf.
We don’t know exactly when the figure’s release is planned, but it’ll be sometime in early 2022. It will also be a Target exclusive, meaning you likely won’t get a chance to preorder one, but it should actually show up in stores. If you already have the Captain Carter figure in the original What If…? wave, then this will look great standing beside it.
