Courtesy of Marvel Comics, we have an early look at Maestro: World War M #1 out in January 2022. The series marks Peter David’s final miniseries in a trilogy featuring the origins of Maestro. Originally kicking off with Maestro #1 announced in May 2020, the series started out strong and looks to close out strong too.
“I am thrilled that Marvel Comics has given me an opportunity to revisit with an old…well, “friend” probably isn’t the best word…an old associate of mine who was and is very entertaining to write,” David said in a statement sent to AIPT. “The Maestro has certainly taken off as his own character, and it’s great that I finally had the chance to expand on plot elements that have been rattling around in my head for twenty years.”
Read the solicit below, along with covers by Carlos Pacheco, Ed McGuinness, Ron Lim, and Logan Lubera.
