Marvel celebrates ‘Black Panther’ #200 with extra-sized issue in 2022

‘Black Panther’ #200 to feature covers by Alex Ross, Taurin Clarke, and Gary Frank.

This January, Black Panther is celebrating its milestone 200th issue with Black Panther #3. The extra-sized issue has a main story written by Academy Award-winning writer John Ridley with art by Juann Cabal. Out on January 26th, the issue will introduce a new hero who rises up to protect the people of Wakanda while T’Challa’s life and role as Black Panther are thrown into turmoil. The issue will feature art by Juan Cabal, along with other creative teams too.

Black Panther is getting the new creative team of John Ridley and Juann Cabal which kicks off with Black Panther #1 in November (legacy numbering Black Panther #198).

The issue will also feature Black Panther vs. the X-Men! Per Marvel’s solicited:

With assassins closing in and Wakanda’s faith in him shaken, T’Challa goes to visit Storm on the newly terraformed Mars. But this will not be a happy reunion as T’Challa has ulterior motives for his visit. And back home, Shuri discovers who is behind the attacks on Wakanda’s secret agents — a revelation that will change everything.
