Marvel Comics you might be wondering why Black Panther #1 is set for release in November according to the 2021 November solicitations, but that is not a mistake. Originally set for release in August, when reached for comment Marvel Comics confirmed Black Panther #1 has a new release scheduled for November.
In fact, the solicitations reveal all orders were canceled for Black Panther #1, so new orders will need to be made. The text reads in the solicit: RETAILERS: PREVIOUS ORDERS WILL BE CANCELLED.
Back in May, Ridley had this to say about the much-anticipated series launch:
“It’s a hybrid espionage-superhero thriller, but at its core, it’s a love story,” Ridley told The New York Times. “And I don’t mean just romantic love, although there’s some of that as well. It’s love between friends.”
The new series features art by Juann Cabal and covers by Alex Ross.
