Image Comics has revealed the horror magazine Razorblades launched back in July 2020 is getting a deluxe hardcover on April 27, 2022. Edited by James Tynion IV and Steve Foxe, AIPT spoke with them both about the magazine when it launched, which ended up being a huge success. The first edition was quite good and now fans who missed the digital and hardcopy editions can pick up the deluxe hardcover which houses issues #1-5.
The magazine wasn’t just a grassroots horror anthology but also housed prose and interviews with creators like Scott Snyder. All told, the new deluxe hardcover will collect over 400 pages of horror content. The fifth issue can be purchased today on therazorblades.com.
“I’m incredibly proud of this project, and the deep bench of horror talent we were able to bring on board,” said Tynion IV in a statement. “Not just with the usual crowd of writers and illustrators from one corner of the comic industry, but incredible horror talents from the full breadth of the medium, all around the world. Foxe spoke a bit about curating the anthology saying it was gratifying but also mystifying at times. “It’s been so rewarding to cultivate a dedicated readership over the course of five oversized issues. The talent for terror on display in these pages deserves the largest audience possible, though, and James and I are thrilled that Razorblades is going to have a new life in hardcover from Image Comics, which will help anyone seeking new nightmares to get their hands on all of the cutting-edge frights contained within.”
Expect the Razorblades deluxe hardcover in bookstores on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Razorblades hardcover edition (ISBN: 978-1-5343-2124-3) will collect Razorblades issues #1-5 and be available on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 and in bookstores on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
