‘The Boys’ Season 3: First look at Crimson Countess & Gun Powder

Two more members of the legendary superhero team Payback join Soldier Boy in the third season of ‘The Boys.’

Over the weekend, we got our first good look at two superheroes who will appear in the upcoming third season of Amazon Prime’s The Boys.

On Friday, Laurie Holden took to twitter to show off her Scarlet-witch inspired Crimson Countess costume. Her casting was announced this past summer, but the official character reveal is sure to jog any lapsed memories about her involvement.

Crimson Countess

On Sunday, November’s installment of Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman (The Boys‘ in-universe, Tucker Carlson-mocking “news” program) gave us the first look we’ve gotten at Gun Powder since he had couple brief cameos in the first season.

This time, the firearm-obsessed supe was being praised by Coleman for his program that teaches children how to safely exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Gunpowder

Coleman also refers to Gun Powder (portrayed by Sean Patrick Flanery) as a member of Payback, a superhero team that will include Crimson Countess and Soldier Boy. Gun Powder wasn’t a member of Payback in the comics, but it makes sense for him to be included here. We also get another look at Crimson Countess as she belts out a power ballad for Voughtland’s historical musical, Solder Boy, Ahoy!

One area The Boys television series will likely stick with the comic source material is Stormfront being a former member of Payback. It’s all types of interesting to watch how things play out with her old team getting dropped into the mix this season.
