New official ‘The Batman’ poster goes heavy with the fog machine

A new ‘The Batman’ poster is moody and atmospheric.

Warner Bros. have revealed a new official The Batman poster and it’s quite a foggy and atmospheric poster at that. The film is set to debut on March 4, 2021, which means we’ll likely get another poster at some point as we get closer to release. Given how jam-packed the film is with stars–which you can see in the official trailer–there is plenty they can do with the poster.

Just as long as it’s not a ton of floating heads.

It’s not just Batman on the poster though but also Catwoman as she and Batman make up the spaces in the “M” of the title treatment.

The official synopsis for the film is a bit light, but per expectations, it involves The Riddler:

The Riddler plays a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Batman and Commissioner Gordon in Gotham City.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Peter Sarsgaard as District Attorney Gil Colson, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, and Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle.
