The much-anticipated series X-Cellent is coming to your comic book shop in February and courtesy of Marvel Comics we have your first look at the series. Originally teased for 2020 release, Peter Milligan, Laura Allred, and Michael Allred’s X-Cellent has been set with a new release date of February 2, 2022.
Their long-awaited return to X-Statix begins in X-Cellent #1, which will feature a brand-new team of rivals that will take this one-of-a-kind series to a fresh and exciting new future. Joining them on letters is Nate Piekos of Blambot studios.
“I’m thoroughly X-Statix to be working with Mike and Laura Allred again,” Milligan said back in October. “And it’s been truly X-CELLENT to discover that we’ve lost none of our alchemical fizz in conjuring up this new comic, this new title, this new beginning: The X-CELLENT!”
