Marvel Comics has released a new Amazing Spider-Man teaser, the second in two days, that asks, “What did Peter do?” The teaser features pencils by John Romita Jr. and colors by Marcio Menyz. Marvel promises more information tomorrow on Spider-Man.
The teaser features Spider-Man in a crater holding what looks like a Spider-Man controller. Whatever Peter Parker will do, we’ll find out with certainty in April when the new story arc kicks off.
The new artist for the series was teased yesterday with a single image on Twitter and fans were speculating since. Color artist Marcio Menyz joined in letting fans know he’d be coloring the series.
Check out the teaser below.
WHAT DID PETER DO?
Stay tuned tomorrow for more information about April’s AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
It’s not yet known who will be writing the series, but we do know it’ll be a new era after the Beyond Board writing team took over which consists of Zeb Wells, Kelly Thompson, Saladin Ahmed, Cody Ziglar, and Patrick Gleason.
The Beyond Board team functioned via Slack, which Ziglar detailed in the AIPT Comics podcast a few weeks ago, and shorter story arcs were written by different writers over the series planned 19 issue run. That Beyond Board run ends in March with The Amazing Spider-Man #93 with its final issue by Zeb Wells and Patrick Gleason.
Stay tuned to AIPT as we get new information on this exciting new direction for Spider-Man.
