[Sundance ’22] There is more than movies at The Sundance Film Festival

Sundance has a lot to offer.

The Sundance Film Festival will have more than movies and documentaries. This year, there will also be a number of short films and episodic programming. (The Indie Episodic section is for creators of content for episodic platforms.) The projects come from around the world and cover a variety of themes.

Westerns are not as prevalent as they once were. Though there are good ones that still come out, the genre as a whole has fallen to the wayside. Bring on the Dancing Horses is a modern day Western about an assassin (Kate Bosworth) who is looking to complete her list of targets. The first of ten episodes will be shown.

Chiqui

Chiqui tells a familiar story. In 1987, Chiquie and Carlos emigrate from Columbia to New York. All they have with them are suitcases and their unborn child. As is often the case when people come over to live the American Dream, things do not go quite as planned.
