Dark Horse Comics has announced Pearl III from Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos. It’s the continuation of Bendis’ saga of crime, art, loyalty, and passion. Pearl III is also the second book under Bendis’ Jinxworld label now at Dark Horse Comics. The six-issue series launches its first issue May 25th whever comics are sold.
Pearl was last seen under DC Comics, which we rather liked here at AIPT.
So what’s Pearl III about?
A brand new (yes, all new!) chapter in the tattoo artist/yakuza assassin/romantic odyssey, Pearl. That’s right: the critically-acclaimed Jinxworld title makes its Dark Horse debut with a brand-new chapter in the wild life of Pearl Tanaka.
Pearlis a unique experience about an artist discovering the secrets of the modern yakuza world she was born into, through no fault of her own. After finding out the truth about her parents in previous volumes, the question now is: WHO IS THE GHOST DRAGON OF SAN FRANCISCO?
