The biggest new video games releasing the week of 2/28/22

Check out what’s new in the world of video games this week.

If you’re ready to pull yourself away from Pokemon Legends: ArceusHorizon Forbidden WestElden Ring, and all of the other insanely great releases of 2022 so far, then March has some new fun games in store for you.

Let’s check out what video games are hitting storefronts this week.

FAR: Changing Tides (March 1)

Set in the same world as FAR: Lone SailsFAR: Changing Tides is described as an “atmospheric vehicle adventure.” It’s about a boy braving the seas, by sailing and diving in his ship, in search of a new home. Gameplay consists of solving environmental puzzles and repairing the ship to keep it afloat. Changing Tides has been receiving strong review scores from gaming outlets already and players can currently test out the game by downloading a demo from Steam before deciding to purchase.

Shadow Warrior 3 (March 1)

Shadow Warrior 3 looks to combine the humor of Saints Row and the gore of Doom. Players take control of Lo Wang, an assassin/mercenary on a quest to defeat an ancient dragon he accidentally awakened. With an array of guns and a katana for slicin’ and dicin’ he’ll take on hordes of enemy demons while cracking joke after joke.

Gran Turismo 7 (March 4)

Polyphony Digital brings their racing series to next gen hardware (as well as the PS4) with Gran Turismo 7, the first numbered entry in the franchise since 2013’s Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3. Returning features include a single-player campaign, championships, driving school, car dealerships, dynamic time and weather, and online multiplayer. The PS5 version sports unique features such as ray-tracing, haptic feedback, and reduced load times while it runs at 60 FPS with 4K resolution. Why go outside and drive when you can stay in and race?
