Toni Storm makes AEW debut on Dynamite

It’s Toni Time, as the former WWE Superstar is All Elite.

Toni Storm has joined All Elite Wrestling. The former WWE Superstar was introduced as The Bunny’s surprise opponent in the first round of qualifying matchups for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Memorial tournament — a match she won with her Storm Zero finishing maneuver.

Storm joined WWE in 2018 after an impressive showing in the Mae Young Classic. From there, she spent much of her WWE career in NXT UK, where she is a former NXT UK Women’s Champion. Storm eventually switched to NXT proper before being called up to SmackDown in July 2021. After several months of hardly being used on the main roster, Toni reportedly quit WWE in December.

Prior to WWE, Toni Storm held the Stardom SWA World Championship for a record 612 days, and held the Progress Women’s Championship and wXw Women’s Championship in Europe.

Only time will tell where Toni Storm goes from here, but this should be a mutually beneficial relationship as Toni was not used to her full potential in WWE, and AEW’s women’s division is in need of a shot in the arm.
