Courtesy of DC Comics, we have a first look at two inked pages from the upcoming Black Adam #1. Set for release on June 21st, the series is written by Christopher Priest with art by Rafa Sandoval. The preview images are clearly listed as a double-page splash on pages four & five and a full-page splash on sixteen, respectfully.
From the look of these images, it appears Black Adam is going to punch a hole through Darkseid’s chest. Then, later in the issue Black Adam’s arm appears corrupted turning into stone.
Announced back in March, the first issue will have some epic covers by Irvin Sandoval, Rafa Sandoval, Mikel Janin, Lucio Parrillo, Crystal Kung, Cully Hamner, Lucio Parrillo, and Travis Mercer & Danny Miki. Check out the covers here.
