Sasha Banks and Naomi suspended indefinitely, stripped of titles

Michael Cole announced the news after burying Sasha and Naomi on SmackDown.

On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that as a result of their actions, Sasha Banks and Naomi have been suspended indefinitely and stripped of their Women’s Tag Team Championships. A tournament will occur to decide the new champions.

Before the show’s main event, a Tag Team Championship unification match between The Usos and RK-Bro, the camera focused on Cole and Pat McAfee, where Cole said that Sasha and Naomi “disappointed millions” as well as their fellow Superstars for walking out of Raw before their scheduled match this past Monday, reportedly following a creative dispute. McAfee did not weigh in on the matter.

Sasha and Naomi have yet to respond to the story.
