Jon Favreau is getting his own Star Wars Black Series figure

The figure will be sold exclusively at Star Wars Celebration and through Hasbro Pulse.

On Tuesday, Jesse Schedeen of IGN exclusively revealed a new figure for Hasbro’s Black Series toyline. You may already have the excellent Paz Vizsla figure from 2019, but this version features the facial likeness of Jon Favreau.

Paz Vizsla

Is it weird to have a toy with a face that’s based on a Mandalorian who refuses to remove his helmet? Yes.

Does the fact that the face is based on the beloved Star Wars writer/director (who also voices Paz Vizsla) completely negate the weirdness? Absolutely.

Unfortunately, this toy won’t be an easy one to get. The figure will first be offered to attendees of this year’s Star Wars Celebration (May 26 – 29 in Anaheim, California) who’ll receive a code to preorder it at Hasbro Pulse. Later, a limited quantity will be made available to scalper bots eBay the general public.

The figure will retail for $39.99 and is scheduled to arrive this Fall. That’s a pretty steep price tag, but at least it’s for an exclusive with a genuinely cool/unique aspect. I’m also sure that Hasbro doesn’t mind getting a bit more use out of the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian mold.

Check out a few more pictures of the figure below!
