The highly-anticipated release of the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise is slated for this fall on October 28. Modern Warfare II‘s release date was posted across the official Call of Duty and Infinity Ward Twitter accounts alongside a video showing off promotional artwork.

The teaser takes a larger-than-life approach by having the artwork displayed among shipping containers as well as multiple boat decks. Through sweeping drone footage, the video reveals stylized portraits of the game’s operators. These include the legendary Captain Price, Soap McTavish, Gaz Garrick and Colonel Vargas. The video does not include any gameplay or hints at the story, but eagle-eyed viewers may notice “J-8-22” scrawled in graffiti on a shipping container. This could hint at more details to be announced in either June or July, but this remains to be confirmed.
We know very few specific details about the game at this point, but from the promotional art it’s safe to assume it will continue the adventures of Task Force 141 from the previous game. 2019’s Modern Warfare was one of the most lucrative and popular entries in the franchise, making its follow-up even more exciting.
